Are you required to tip at hair salons like Supercuts, Great Clips, Style America?

Not to insult those who work there but come on they don't exactly depict the image of a high end place. When I choose one of those places I feel that I didn't choose a ';rich woman's'; hair salon and feel good aobut that. In fact arent most of the people who go to those places the same people who prefer to buy their clothing at Walmart?Are you required to tip at hair salons like Supercuts, Great Clips, Style America?

. Tipping is optional. And if you do tip, You tip any hairstylist who does your hair, but the owner. Don't be a snob. A salon is a salon. And every single salon is different with different hairstyles. All hairstylists are trained the same, and you get some that suck, and some that are great at what they do. And both can work in a salon like Super Cuts, or Smartstyles(My sister for instance, She's a GREAT hairstylist, and worked for smartstyles, because she wanted to get in with Regis, and loved working for them.)
