its not permanent! it lasts till your hair starts growing it out. Then it looks really bad because the top part will be wavy or curly(natural) and the bottem completly straight. I know its a hassle to straighten your hair everyday but i would not do japenese straightning. I straighten my hair everyday, I've just fallen into a routine. If you have to do it they usually have an hourly rate.About 80 or a 100 dollars in hour. Its expensive and time consuming to do.

so ya lasts easily 4-8 months and u have to keep doing it when it gets curly again
